George Nosal

Hi, I'm George, throughout my site, it is evident that there are many fluid elements, this is cause of my core belief that design is fluid, its changing, never ending. I want my work and design language to encapsulate this feeling of constant change and innovation.

I am currently finishing my second year of industrial design engineering at the Technical University of Eindhoven, throughout my time here I have delved into many different projects and commitments exploring my boundaries of innovating and working with technology. Moreover I currently manage Team IGNITE, a lighting student team focusing on connecting light with design and technology, a multifaceted team of over 50 engineers, designers and creative minds. Over the past academic year I was the business and finance manager of the team, moving onto the next academic year, I plan to step up and become the team lead of Team IGNITE for the 2026-2027 academic year. Alongside IGNITE I will also be delving into a Lighting research internship project.

I view myself as a very technologically minded designer, I believe I might even describe myself with the cliche word “inventor”. As I have a defined interest in innovating and creating new technologies and products that help and aid users' lives. Throughout my time at TU/e I have found a fascination and niche within audiovisual technology, mostly due to my increased role and passion for IGNITE and the ability to connect people together through complex lighting design and mechanical structures whilst freely expressing a symbol or message to the world, this has led me onto working within production in other fields, such as with Ascension Festivals where I am currently working on audiovisual effects and event production. I hope to delve more into the field of complex technology and striking visuals.
